Enriching our communities for more than 15 years, we find great value in knowing each student on a personal and artistic level. Our curriculum allows freedom to design a program that is tapered to individual desires, allowing participants to thrive and flourish in the areas they choose to explore.
Our priority is producing confident students who are empowered to make an impact on their community. The DMA provides highly qualified teachers who are dedicated to infusing an artistic presence into the communities we serve.
We invite you to explore the vast array of artistic opportunities we offer to all our students. Click on the link below for class times and pricing.Register Now

"The Dance and Music Academy is an educational institution that continues to explore and create new ideologies to support their dancers. The instructors have the knowledge and technical experience to mold your dancer into what they desire to be. DMA gives your dancer opportunities to perform for many different stages nationwide. They have opportunities to promote their dances regionally and nationally. They have opportunities to join Companies to encourage growth in a specific area, perform and tour with Trifecta Dance Collective (the resident professional company at DMA), and choreograph pieces for various Chicago showcases. They have chances to mature and develop life-long friendships. Your dancer learns to volunteer and think outside the box of dancing to support others in their community and they learn first-hand about the vast, amazing opportunities that await them as a professional dancer.""
"The Dance and Music Academy is an amazing place! It has the most kind, supportive and talented teachers. Every student is made to feel special and unique. If you would like to take your dancing to another level, the opportunities that exist are phenomenal. There’s not a day that goes by that Daisy-May does not want to be at the Dance and Music Academy. It’s like her second family!"
"My son loves dancing. The teachers he's had are great. They adjust for a boy's style and muscles without singling him out. He doesn't feel awkward or different for being a boy who dances."
"Do you know how people say there are four main parts of you? Your heart, mind, body and soul? I love to dance because dancing feeds all of those things and leaves me feeling refreshed and new. Dancing at DMA feeds my heart because I am with my friends and having fun, my body because it is a form of exercise, my mind because I am thinking about the dance moves, and my soul because everyone is being quiet. It feels like I am a new person when I leave the studio. I love DMA because it has amazing teachers and we are required to take certain classes because the technique will make you a stronger dancer. I love that we get to talk about what we can improve on in the Empowering Young Minds curriculum each month with the older girls who I look up to."
