DMA Dancers - Our Mission

DMA hosts a chapter of The National Honor Society for Dance Arts™ (NHSDA), a program of the National Dance Education Organization that aims to recognize students for their leadership, artistic merit and academic achievement. To be inducted into the NHSDA program, dancers earn points for dance activities in community service, performances, rehearsals, classes, or workshops.

Future Leaders Program

The DMA Future Leaders Program provides training to students who are interested in becoming arts educators or leaders. The emphasis on leadership skills provided by this program can be applied to multiple areas of interest and future career fields. This program includes one-on-one mentorship with a professional dance instructor, the opportunity to assist teachers in weekly classes for younger students, and interactive monthly classes with other peer leaders in the program.

Trifecta Dance Collective

DMA is proud to announce our resident professional contemporary dance company, Trifecta Dance Collective! This company will offer high-school aged DMA dancers the opportunity to train and perform with professional dancers. These advanced dancers will have the chance to intern with the company and learn invaluable artistic and marketing skills, allowing them to seamlessly transition through their training into the professional world.
